Why Frame?

Why Frame?

Frame is a compliance infrastructure company powering payments for complex, highly regulated industries. We enable businesses to move money with confidence by embedding compliance and payments into a single, intelligent platform. Our ambition is to become the infrastructure layer that regulated businesses rely on to operate, scale, and access services globally.

At Frame, how we build matters as much as what we build. Our values shape how we work, make decisions, and support our merchants. We're headquartered in Los Angeles with a globally distributed team. We're committed to running an inclusive and accessible hiring process. If you need any adjustments along the way, let us know.

Let's solve problems together

Let's solve problems together

The role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Risk Platform to join the Product team at Frame. This role is responsible for building and scaling the systems that protect the platform, including fraud detection, credit exposure monitoring, transaction controls, and internal tooling for risk analysts. You will enable Frame to safely support complex, high-compliance payment use cases, working closely with Engineering, Risk Operations, Compliance, and external partners.

What you'll do

Own the risk platform roadmap across fraud, credit risk, and compliance systems. You will build internal risk operations tooling including investigation workflows, case management, and audit logs, and design and scale transaction monitoring and risk scoring systems. A meaningful part of the role is developing credit exposure and payout guardrails, implementing geo-compliance and merchant risk controls, and partnering with risk and compliance teams to translate operational needs into scalable systems. You will also identify manual workflows and drive automation of repeatable risk decisions.

what we require

3 to 5 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or a fast-paced startup. You have experience building platform infrastructure or internal tools, familiarity with payments systems including ACH and card networks, and a track record of working closely with engineering on complex systems. You can operate in ambiguity, break down complex problems into structured solutions, and collaborate effectively across functions.

you are someone who

Enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in fast-paced environments. You are comfortable with ambiguity, happy building structure where none exists, and you take ownership and move quickly without sacrificing quality. You care about getting things right and building systems that hold up over time.

Life at frame

The way we build at Frame is grounded in our values. Alongside our operating principles, they shape how we work and how we win. We want our people to feel empowered, supported, and challenged, and for that to translate into how we serve our customers.

  • Start with Why - We ensure clarity of purpose before acting, building, or automating.

  • Bias to Action - We take ownership, move quickly, and iterate rather than waiting for perfect answers.

  • Rooted in Integrity - We do the right thing with data, money, partners, and decisions, especially when no one is watching.

  • Be Decent. Be Direct. - We collaborate with respect, clarity, and care, even in disagreement.

  • The Discerning Eye - We care deeply about quality, detail, and craft in how things look, feel, and work.
