The role
We are hiring our founding People person to join the Operations function at Frame. This role is responsible for building and owning the people function from the ground up, defining how we hire, develop, and scale a high-performance team aligned to Frame's mission. You will create the systems, support on culture, and operating rhythm that enable the company to scale efficiently without adding unnecessary layers, working closely with the COO. You will partner directly with Leadership, Product, Risk, and GTM.
What you'll do
Design and build Frame's people strategy and operating model spanning hiring, performance, and org design support, with a 12 to 18 month growth horizon in mind. Own end-to-end hiring strategy including the talent bar, interview frameworks, and ensuring high talent density across the company. Build the framework for goal setting, feedback cycles, and accountability, tied to company metrics and outcomes.
Shape and embed company culture and values into hiring, onboarding, and day-to-day operations. Establish core people infrastructure including policies, compensation bands, leveling, onboarding, and the employee lifecycle. Partner with leadership to drive org design and team effectiveness, and build scalable processes that prioritize automation and efficiency over headcount.
what we require
4+ years of experience in People, Talent, or HR, ideally in a high-growth startup or fintech environment. You have built or contributed to people systems from the early stage, including hiring, performance, and culture. You have a strong understanding of talent density and hiring for quality over speed. You can operate in ambiguity and build structure from scratch, work cross-functionally with leadership teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level.
